Acid reflux, a pregnancy symptom

Acid reflux
This is when you feel a burning sensation in your throat or chest, which can be caused by hormonal changes or other factors.

Is it normal?
Acid reflux during pregnancy is a common experience for many women, particularly as the uterus expands and puts pressure on the stomach.

Despite the discomfort, it's important to remember that this is a normal part of pregnancy for many women.
Prevent and care
Proper management of acid reflux is important to avoid discomfort and potential complications, such as damage to the esophagus.
  • Eat smaller meals more frequently throughout the day to avoid overfilling your stomach.
  • Chew your food slowly and thoroughly to aid digestion and reduce air intake, which can contribute to acid reflux.
  • Drink fluids between meals instead of with meals to prevent your stomach from becoming too full.
  • Avoid known trigger foods such as fried, spicy, or fatty foods, as well as citrus fruits and juices.
  • Limit caffeine intake
  • Consuming yogurt or milk can help neutralize stomach acid.
  • You can also mix honey with warm milk or make ginger tea to soothe the stomach.
Phytotherapy, aromatherapy, naturopathy : each one can find her solution in her own method! 🌱

Girl I'm going through the same thing and other moms say they go through it too but I'm talking like somedays it's all day and all night. And sleeping doesn't help. Everytime I wake up to pee I feel nauseous. I'm constipated from nausea medicine and showers are the only thing that soothes me but when I get out it's a hit or miss if I get sick again.

At my 6dpo I had acid reflux at night then the 7dpo I had implantation (I think) then had more acid reflux at night. Now I’m 9dpo I’m still having acid reflux only when I’m about to go to bed. Does anybody have the same symptom? Is it normal?
