First time momma here just found out I'm going to be induced at 37 weeks so in less than 2 weeks from now due to gestational hypertension and the baby being underweight. Can anybody tell me what to expect during induction I'm terrified and I don't know anybody who has been induced before.

Its no harm it just so it could speed up labor I got induce at 39 weeks it was a fast birth yet for me

If my blood pressure doesn’t get under control I know their gonna tell me I’m going to need a c section I’m scared bc that’s what I was trying to avoid😭 being my first Pregancy I wanted to experience everything natural

They should do an ultrasound to determine how far along u actually are an give u an estimated due date an do blood work because I just had my first appointment yesterday an that’s what they did for me.

Yessss tyana is correct. I would also definitely start writing down all your questions ahead of time so you are not puzzled and overwhelmed at your first appointment. Good luck on your amazing journey ahead of you 🫶🏼😇

This first trimester tiredness is no joke. I sleep 10 hours a night then take a 3 hour nap during the day.. I'm almost 13 weeks hoping I can get some energy back soon. #pregancy #12weeks #tired

Dang Pregancy discharge is different literally had to change my underwear’s bc I soaked through my first ones😭 it wasn’t bad but I had to change it

We have our first ultrasound on Monday, the 9th, and I'm praying for a heartbeat 🙏! I have had 2 miscarriages before this current pregancy and I'm trying to be positive but I'm so scared. I'm just trying to prep for what we may see/hear next week.

You'll also most likely have to leave a urine sample, (You will for all appointments) and they might take your blood to check your hcg levels to make sure you're doubling as you should be but I'm here to tell you! I'm a huge baby with needles and blood as well, it's not that bad! And plus, during your pregnancy you'll get use to it... almost to the point that you wont even remember having an issue with it! Don't worry mama! And congratulations!

My 1st appointment is Friday 😩😍, can y’all give me some type of insight on what to expect at my first appointment?

for them to ask you a lot of questions, my ob measured my cervix with her fingers & ngl that shit hurt, they also do an ultrasound & if the baby too small you’ll get a vaginal ultrasound not too bad but still uncomfortable. come prepared with questions. mine mainly were about what I can/can’t eat. I love seafood and sushi so I had a bunch of questions regarding that.
