Baby's sex: what clues do we have?

Baby sex myths: fact vs. fiction
While the ultimate reveal typically happens during an ultrasound or genetic testing, there are some clues that might give you a playful hint about whether you're having a boy or a girl.
The Shape of Your Baby Bump
One popular belief is that the shape of your baby bump can offer a clue about your baby's sex. According to folklore, a high and round baby bump is said to be indicative of carrying a girl, while a low and protruding bump suggests a boy.
However, it's important to note that the shape of your bump is influenced by various factors, such as your body type, the position of the baby, and the strength of your abdominal muscles.
So, take this clue with a pinch of salt and embrace the uniqueness of your beautiful bump!
Cravings and Food Preferences
Another fun clue often associated with baby's sex is your cravings and food preferences during pregnancy.
According to popular belief, craving sweets like chocolate and ice cream is linked to carrying a girl, while cravings for salty or savory foods might indicate a boy.
However, cravings are influenced by hormonal changes and individual preferences, so it's important to remember that these cravings aren't definitive proof of your baby's sex.
The Linea Nigra: A Darker Trail
During pregnancy, you might notice a dark vertical line called the linea nigra running from your belly button to your pubic bone. Some believe that the direction of this line can hint at your baby's sex.
According to folklore, if the linea nigra extends above your belly button and up towards your ribs, it's a sign of carrying a boy. Conversely, if the line stops at your belly button or extends only below it, it's said to indicate a girl.
However, it's important to note that the presence or absence of the linea nigra and its direction is influenced by hormones and individual differences.
Mother's Intuition and Gut Feeling
Sometimes, a mother's intuition and gut feeling can be the most powerful clue of all. Many expectant moms have reported having strong intuitions about their baby's sex, even before any scientific confirmation.
While it may not be based on scientific evidence, it's important to acknowledge and honor your own feelings and instincts.
After all, the bond between a mother and her baby is truly magical, and sometimes, a mother's intuition proves to be right!

Baby is well protected so unless your doctor advises against it sex is normally completely safe. As you get farther along certain positions are more comfortable than others

Ok so I have a question it’s a Postpartum sex question. Did any of u have sex around 3 weeks after having your baby. I had a c section idk if that makes a difference but idk if I can wait till 6 weeks but the doctor said there’s risks if we do and it’s not just getting pregnant again
