Pregnancy with an open cervix

Your cervix should be posterior, firm, and closed during pregnancy, so an open cervix means you have to rest to avoid complications or premature delivery.

You should not worry or panic. You will be subject to continuous monitoring by your obstetrician or midwife to prevent any risk of miscarriage or premature delivery. Doctor's orders,—rest!

You will have to limit your outings, avoid physical activities and lie down as much as possible to avoid contractions. Spa, nesting, preparation for the arrival of the baby... Make the most of this time to prepare everything and to be pampered!

OMG!! At the beginning, I had this horrible rash like a necklace that itched like crazy. It was bad to the point I had to be tested for celiac. That itching went away, but now one of my tattoos has the same itch all the time.

Does anyone else have where they’ve experienced quite a bit of neck pain in early pregnancy? It’s hard to get comfortable sometimes.😅💕

Baby Mateo made it to this world safe and sound!!😍😍😍😍🥰💕💕 I had an emergency c section because the umbilical cord was wrapped around my baby's neck (scary experience). Now a week postpartum and slowly getting back on my feet. My question for those ladies that have had c sections. How long until you feel fully mobile again and aren't afraid the incision will open?

I'm 6 days post partum and I'm also super scared of the incision opening. if you would like to talk about it since we are going through the same thing that would be great!😊

I'm going through the same thing right now and I had my c section on the 14th. I mean, I have a 2yo at home and now I've got my 2 almost 1wk old twin boys. I'm scared of it ripping open

Yes, that's the control line. It doesn't matter really. The one that really matters is the test line

Cervix must be closed in order to carry. Depending on how open it is u can a procedure to help it stay close. But most people with open cervix miscarry without procedure done
