Blood pressure drop during pregnancy

Blood pressure drops are common in pregnant women and are due to the body's adaptation to pregnancy.

Did you know that pregnancy hormones will weaken your blood vessels, causing frequent drops in blood pressure? Don't worry, the symptoms will be more unpleasant than dangerous.

You will feel dizzy, nauseous, have palpitations, be tired, and have difficulty concentrating.

  • Try to sleep on your left side to free the vena cava.
  • Drink often, wear compression stockings, and avoid excessive heat.

Don't hesitate to ask your midwife or obstetrician for advice.

Ways to get rid of tension headaches during pregnancy? Before pregnancy I used to get them quite often. Yes I’ve taken pain killers, yes I watch which ones I take so don’t come at me. I keep trying to sleep but it’s like it won’t go away, it’s over my right eye and down that side of my neck. These make me miserable
