so im 34 weeks , my doctor thinks im gonna have my baby early but if not , i asked to be induced at 39 weeks . what are some things i should know about labor as a first time mom ? im so scared and want to be prepared !!

It's not scarry but I would do epidural as late as you can do you can walk around and bring baby down. That my mistake with my first and being induced. I was in labor 48 hours with my first and 72 hours with my 2nd epidural slows it down I feel like. 3rd I had natural and was in labor 24 hoursbecause I was able to walk

💙I was wondering if anybody had read any articles or saw any good videos online about getting ready to give birth. I'm a first time Mom 👋 and I don't know what to expect. Im scared😬 and I want to try to be kinda prepared. I'm 28 weeks so I know the end is near. ☺️ Lol.

me either. It's a scary and overwhelming thought!!! Then I start looking for articles and I start reading and get freaked out. I have a anxiety disorder so I'm worried. 😔

I have a question I’m a first time mom and I’m only 17 weeks and I was wondering what does labor feel like or what I need to be prepared for I’m scared but want nothing but the truth to know I hate when my family try’s to sugar coat it to make me not nervous

If you’d have one of those bad period pains, the pain is like that but like much more intense, like 10x more intense. Then it’s rhythmic, like it happens in a pattern, while you’re in the thick of it. But when you are there, you will probably not mind the pain because your baby’s about to come out and the excitement swallows your fears and the pain. You can do it!😍

When u go in to labor what is it that u want to make sure u pack and stuff like this is my first kid and I want to be prepared

The take home outfit... if you plan on pumping take the pump ask questions...make a list of stuff you wanna know. Comfy clothes for yourself and partner or whoever will be with you..the hospital should proved most everything else you'll need!

For my 1st appointment they did vaginal ultrasound, routine check up like check breasts, etc, drew blood, got starting weight, gave me prenatals and thats all I remember

I'm soo glad to see the first time moms on here so EXCITED to have their child. I can already see how responsible, prepared, protective, heartfelt, and nurturing you all are ❤️❤️ YOU LADIES WILL BE AMAZING MOTHERS ❤️🥰 despite the trials and tribulations, y'all aren't allowing the devil to kill your joy. yes it's exciting no matter what number baby but there's nothing like the first ♥️😘 CONGRATULATIONS LADIES 🥰

I have a high pain tolerance but I have bad anxiety so I pray that I don’t have a anxiety attack when I go into labor because I don’t know what to expect but I am getting myself ready enough to handle it ,also my apartment isn’t gonna be ready by the time I give birth so I have to make room for a crib and make half my room a nursery ( sooo stressful !!!!!
