31 weeks and I have lower stomach and lower back pain… idk if I should go get checked
Abdominal cramps, the tension in the kidneys, back pain... During pregnancy, these pains are frequent. What are the causes and how can they be reduced?
With the weight gain and the baby making her place, you will feel pains in the belly and in the back. It's normal as the baby settles down: ligaments and tissues relax, causing tensions in the abdomen which can go to the lower back.
Resting calms the cramps. The tip? Apply a hot water bottle to the area of pain for optimal relaxation. If you are worried about the pain or if it is accompanied by bleeding, don't hesitate to consult your midwife or obstetrician to be reassured.
