Baby's sleep at 1 year

When your baby blows out their first candle, the hardest part about sleeping is over - what can you expect next?

  • By the time your baby is one year old, he or she has learned to sleep through the night, but may still experience a few awakenings. This is normal and happens to many adults!
  • Your child needs at least 11 hours of sleep at night and an average of two naps during the day, for a total of about 14 hours.
  • A well-established routine will help your child fall asleep, so make sure you create the right conditions for your child to fall asleep and keep the same schedule.

32 weeks today! Feeling so blessed!! Alittle annoyed can't sleep. Got woken up around 1:30 a.m. because my husband was snoring, my 10 year old and 5 year old were coughing, my daughter's cat was crying cause she needed more food, there was a stray cat who keeps passing by my bedroom window with his God aweful cry on a daily basis AND to top it all off the neighbor upstairs from us kept walking around who knows doing what!!! Very frustrated as my husband gets up to go to work at 5:30 a.m. then my oldest at 6 a.m. to get ready for school. Can't even send the other two today because they are coughing and I have no idea what they might have. I have my 32 week appointment and growth scan this morning at 9 a.m. Wish me well ladies

So my daughter's 14 months (1 year 2 months) is she okay to sleep in a toddlers bed I have one for my son and my daughter because my daughter tries to climb out of the crib and I thought maybe if she's in a toddler bed she'd be safer.

What can I do to get my 1 year 0ld to sleep through the night? The past few days she wakes up at 1:30am and stays up till 8 or 10 in the morning. She's off formula and this is my first time having a baby. I don't know what I can feed her to get her belly full enough for her to sleep through the night. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

My 1 year old daughter has gotten off of a sleep schedule. She refuses bed until 12 at night and she will only take one nap a day and she screams when I’m trying to lay her down. She just started refusing naps too.

I’m not doing a thing today!! Remember how i mentioned the exhaustion? Well it’s here!! I’m exhausted yet again. Chasing a 1 year old and growing a baby all day is so hard. I just want to sleep for days!
