Baby's sleep at three months

At three months of age, your baby is slowly beginning to settle into a normal sleep cycle, but he or she still spends a lot of time in the arms of Morpheus.

  • Most three- to six-month-olds sleep a total of 15 to 16 hours a day, day and night.
  • Gradually, your baby is getting out of the habit of nighttime feedings - good news for you and Dad!
  • During this phase, you can gradually start to establish a bedtime routine. Your baby will probably wake up several more times: respect their rhythm.

My baby is going to be 3 months old. Around 2 months old he started to sleep 5 hours straight at night. Now he is sleeping more what I mean he is not waking up for feedings at night anymore . His weight is perfect, but I'm concerned because I don't want him to drop his weight, so what I'm doing is waking him up after 7 hours of him being asleep. I don't know if I'm doing the right thing or if should I let him sleep. ? What can I do?

Is anyone else little one sleeping a lot more recently? My little boy is gonna be 3 months old on the 27th and lately he just wants to sleep all the time (which isn’t nothing for him) I thought it was bc his allergies but I gave him meds his dr recommended but he’s still so sleepy and cry’s when you mess with his arms or legs. Is he having growing pains or something else?

Help.. I know a lot of other moms have much worse struggles, but I'm just so worn down.. My son is 8 months old, and I'm 3 months pregnant. Lately he dose not sleep well..meaning I do not sleep well. He's up every hour and a half to 2 hours usually, even if it's just fussing.. and around 3-4 he's up for a hour or two straight.. and then maybe sleeps 3 hours tell he's up for the day.. his naps range from 30 mins to a hour usually twice a day. I'm so drained and worn out.. dose anyone have any tips to help him sleep through the night better? I have tried baby Tylenol for his teeth and feeding him Gerber before bed..it dosent help.

I've been told by Doctors and DCS [Department of Child Services] that my infant [36week preme, 3 months old now] can't sleep with blankets or on his side. But in the hospital he was continuously swaddled in a blanket and rotated side to side. Are they saying this cause he's older, or cause I'm a new mom and they think the worst? Note: He has sleeper swaddles and sleep sacks, plus warm PJs if needed.

I hate not being able to find a comfortable position to sleep in, no matter how i sleep. I'm so ready for my baby to arrive in 3 months. Tomorrow marks that i'll be 27 weeks.
