Baby's nap at 1 month

Your one-month-old baby sleeps about as much during the day as he does at night, so how does he nap during this stage of their young life?

  • One-month-old babies usually sleep between 15 and 16 hours a day.
  • The distribution of sleep during the day depends on the baby, but about three daytime naps are fairly typical, with an average of 8.5 hours of sleep at night.
  • To make sure your baby gets the most out of their naps, make sure you create an environment that helps your little one fall asleep: plenty of light and quiet.

Getting very frustrated and upset. To the point where I want to cry. I got 20 mins of sleep last night. And I can not get my 15 month old to lay down for a nap. And my 1 month is wide awake as well. So even if I could get him to lay down for a nap I still couldn’t. Honestly I blame my bf bc he didn’t come home til almost 2 and then wanted attention and that lasted to 4 and then I had to pump and then feed and then my 15 month woke up…… like I believe if he would have just come home at a decent time I could have gotten some sleep.
