Mamas, is 4 Months too early to try babies on baby food? My son will be 4 Months on Thanksgiving and I read that 4 Months is the earliest.

Feeding your baby at 9 months
If your baby really enjoys his meals with a spoon and you feel she is ready to go further, good news: go for it!
- Rice, pasta, polenta, semolina, or even finely blended pulses can now be integrated into his meals and complete his nutritional intake.
- A little meat, aromatic herbs, and cheese can also be added to the purées.
- Of course, a bottle in the morning and in the evening is still required. At lunchtime and at snack time, why not give them baby milk?

I was going to spoon feed him some but not sure how much to give him and however many times a day and for the oatmeal would there be a youtube video on how to prepare it for baby? Im a FTM and everything still new to me

Hi moms , when did y’all start y’all babies on baby food ? Like the soft food in the glass jar in the baby isle. My baby turn 4 months on the 24th and everytime I look it up on google it said 6 month but u can start at 4 months but I’ll rather listen to moms opinions

Has anybodys doctor told them that they can start baby on baby food at 5 months? What did you start on first?

At what age can I start mixing in cereal to my daughters bottle she’s 2 months & 2 weeks? Also when can I start her on baby food?

At 6 months is when my local WIC office told me I could start introducing baby food and regular food. The baby cereal, I'm not too sure about, but my baby had a period where he had really bad acid reflux, and his pediatrician told me to start mixing rice cereal into his bottles to help, he was two months old, so I think that's a good age to start.

I started at 3 months with the rice cereal, and with the doctor approval baby food at 4 months. But always check with your babies doctor first.
