A baby's sleep at one month

At one month of age, your newborn has one main occupation besides feeding: sleeping!

  • Between two weeks and one month after birth, babies sleep between 15.5 and 17 hours a day on average.
  • These sleeping hours are divided between 8.5 and 10 hours at night and between 6 and 7 hours during the day on average, divided into three to four naps.
  • There may be slight variations from one child to the next, so there's no need to worry too quickly!
  • During daytime sleep, it is recommended to create calm and a soft darkness.

Anyone I can talk to about getting my 9 month old to sleep during the night. She stopped sleeping through at 7 1/2 months and I’m pregnant and baby and I need our sleep 😫

Does anyone’s baby not like to sleep or always fighting sleep ? My bubbas is 1 month and he will stay up 2 -3 hrs at a time no matter how much I try to make him nap he will literally stay up until his next feeding. Sometimes he’ll be fussy but other times he’s just observing everything lol he sleeps 5 hrs straight in the night time but day time naps are not a thing for him 😩 certain days he will nap but other times he wants to be up all day and makes himself over tired 😩
