Practice breastfeeding from birth

You've heard about breastfeeding from birth and you're wondering what it is?

  • Yes, you've got it right: after the immeasurable efforts you've just made to bring your baby into the world, it's a matter of offering him a welcome feed.
  • Even if it may seem difficult, the benefits are numerous.
  • Your lactation will be stimulated as soon as possible if you want to breastfeed.
  • Both you and your baby will be comforted by the lactation hormones.
  • The colostrum will give your baby a good start in the digestive system.
  • He will receive your antibodies to fight germs.
  • You'll find the energy you need for this special moment!

I’m 2 weeks+2 days pp and I’m breastfeeding but also supplementing with formula because my baby was small and lost 10% of her birth weight when left the hospital. I feel like I’m a failure and ready to just stop breastfeeding altogether. Anyone else feel this way? #isitjustme #whatamIdoingwrong

Please don't judge me... After I give birth I plan on breastfeeding. But soon after birth and after I stop bleeding I want to try to get pregnant again. But I heard it's harder to conceive when breastfeeding & it could be a form of birth control. Is this true??

I had my first period 8 weeks after giving birth, but now I haven't gotten it back. It's been 6 weeks since I've had it. I am breastfeeding & on birth control, should I be concerned?

I would wait a little before seeing the doctor. It’s most likely just your body still adjusting to after pregnancy plus adding the bc can mess with your periods

For moms that are exclusively breastfeeding. With my baby being born a premi. What's the ratio with breastfeeding directly from the nipple and giving it to her through a bottle?

Feeling intimidated about birth control now that our baby is born. Since we're breastfeeding, it could be a long time before having another menstrual cycle.

So I wouldn't know if I was pregnant by missing a period.

It’s 9:58pm here in NYC. Im recovering from covid 🤦🏻‍♀️ I definitely gotta say being pregnant during this time has been so stressful. Definitely I had a question before I go to sleep … haha … breastfeeding does it just come out naturally once I give birth?
