The nursing chair

To breastfeed your baby under the best conditions, you can opt for a nursing chair. Here are the advantages as well as the criteria to take into account when choosing one:

  • The design is ergonomic, with a footrest that can be adjusted in several positions.
  • Seat comfort is important, and the padding should be substantial enough to offer you a comfortable position.
  • The chair can be rocking to help the baby fall asleep with a gentle movement.
  • Remember to choose a model with armrests to avoid tiring the arm that holds your child.

Question for the second time moms here, do you think a rocking chair/glider is an essential tool for nursing?

I’m a first time mom and my dad got me one to help feed my baby and hold him so I’m not uncomfortable in my bed

I'm not a second time mom, I'm a first time mom. But I love my rocker to nurse him. I tried nursing in my bed but he didn't seem to eat as well as when I'm in the recliner
