How to choose your nursing bra?

After your delivery, which bra should you choose to breastfeed? Here are the essential tips for a suitable model.

  • If you want to breastfeed your baby, a special nursing bra will be your best ally.
  • Thanks to a front fastening system, it allows you to breastfeed without taking off all your clothes.
  • From the 3rd trimester of pregnancy, you can choose your first model, as your breasts have developed their final size.
  • The cups should be soft and without an underwire so as not to compress your breasts or armpits.
  • The front opening system, with clips or magnets on the straps, allows you to fully expose your breasts for skin-to-skin contact.
  • The cotton or elastane models prevent irritation.
  • When buying, you should be able to put a hand between the cup and your breast, as this will increase during breastfeeding.

Ok ladies what has been your favorite nursing bra?? I have never found one that I really liked and actually fit me! I don’t really care for sports bras but I’m looking for something that will be comfortable to wear to work! I am a bit big chested!! So looking for something comfortable and supportive!

I order several off patpat 2.5 yrs ago with my last pregnancy and loved them. Can't quite wear them yet this pregnancy but they were soft, comfy, easy to use and supportive for my DD.

Hello everyone, any suggestions on a great supportive nursing bra for women with larger breast? (That’ll also support my hands free pump)

Favorite nursing bra? So far I don’t recommend what I got from kindred braverly or Larken. Kindred begins to feel too tight and it’s really structured. Larken although feels like a nice top I can just pop my boob out. I need to cover my nips or wear nipple covers to prevent leaking which doesn’t hold in place. or a silverette which is just super noticeable.

Auden from target, it has built in pads already, so those won't roll or come out in the wash.

2 things I ordered online just now that puts my mind at ease. A second nursing bra (this one you just pull it down no clips) and a haakaa to catch leaking breastmilk 😊

The haakka is the best thing! If I’m using my manual pump I’ll put the haakka on the other boob and by the time I get 1oz on the pump side I’ve got 2 with the haakka. It’s the best thing I’ve gotten lol

I bought a nursing bra at Walmart last night..it was pretty cheap..I mean $12 is better than $50 online! I'm going to look for me a hospital bag soon too. I feel like you can never be too prepared. Baby's bag is already packed lol

These are what I have and they’re awesome. I put the prices in the pictures as well. And the bag in the middle is HUGE! I got 2 of them, 1 for our hospital bag and the other for bringing stuff home from the hospital like diapers for my son and myself and they worked PERFECT! They expand to be a big duffle bag from the size smaller than a folder. The low cut nursing bras are perfect for pumping to wrap around the flange and the other ones are perfect for the hands free pumps like the momcozys(?) idk if that’s how it’s spelled lol but the prices I put are current from today🙂

If you don’t want to mess up your fancy bras from stretching and pulling to do feedings it’s recommended. Nursing bras just make it easier to access.
