Recommended positions for breastfeeding

If you've decided to breastfeed your baby, here are some tips on how to get into positions that are comfortable for you and your baby:

  • Place your arm on an armrest or pillow to help support your baby's weight.
  • Choose the cradle hold position, where your baby is on your arm and his or her bottom is in your hand.
  • You can also try the rugby ball position, where you hold your baby's head in the palm of your hand and his or her body extends along your forearm.

Is baby just latching onto your nipple? You gotta put more of the areola in baby's mouth.

I was told my baby was in cephalic position which is the ideal position for birth but I'm only 16 weeks is that normal..(baby is feet up head down) and very active
