Baby's Changes Overview
Open 3D Baby to see all changes
  • Physical Activity: Your baby is more active, with kicking, stretching, and making grasping motions.

  • Facial Expressions: Smiling, especially during sleep, is a new development indicating brain and muscle coordination.

  • Auditory Development: Though hearing is muffled due to vernix caseosa, your baby can hear you and may recognize familiar sounds and voices.

  • Reflex Development: The sucking reflex is fully developed, preparing your baby for feeding post-birth.

  • Bone Development: The skeleton continues to strengthen, with bones still soft and pliable for growth and birth.
This significant stage in development marks a period where your baby is practicing skills crucial for life outside the womb.

Helping baby's development
  • Drink Plenty of Water: Aim for at least 8-10 glasses of water a day to stay hydrated and support amniotic fluid levels.

  • Fruit-Infused Water: Enhance the taste of your water by adding slices of fruits like lemons, limes, or berries for a refreshing twist.

  • Coconut Water: Rich in electrolytes, coconut water is a great hydration option that also provides potassium, magnesium, and calcium.

  • Herbal Teas: Sipping on non-caffeinated herbal teas can help with hydration and may alleviate nausea.

  • Sparkling Water: For those who prefer a fizzy drink, sparkling water with a splash of natural fruit juice can be a satisfying alternative.

  • Smoothies: Blend water-rich fruits with a handful of greens for a nutrient-packed smoothie that aids hydration.

Is it normal for your belly button to still not be anywhere near out at 26 weeks? Belly is big, and he moves A LOT! Baby is due on Saturday, December 31st. 💙 #BoyMom

I’ll be 38 weeks tomorrow and mine still is not out. And baby girl is measuring 7lbs so nothing to be concerned about. Just doesn’t happen to everyone.

They move a lot around that time but some days they get lazy and sleeps all day. My daughter is always active but whenever I go for my ultrasound she will sleep and they won’t get anything of her lol. I’m always going back.
