Childbirth: fear of not making it

As the big day approaches, you may start to feel anxious and think that you won't make it.

  • This fear is part of the emotions that moms-to-be develop during their pregnancy, especially when it's their first child.
  • If you think rationally, you will soon be able to play it down.
  • There is no reason why you can't do it!
  • Also, remember that childbirth is a natural phenomenon and that your body will instinctively know what to do to give birth to your baby. Trust it!

Does anyone else have a constant fear something is wrong w baby just because I’m not bleeding there’s just still something wrong??? I’m having my gender reveal party this weekend and all I wanna do is go make sure everything is okay before i announce my gender, I’m 18w, haven’t felt any movement yet. Yes! In the beginning of my pregnancy, I had a few scares with blood and lived in the ER. The bleeding eventually stopped and I then started getting private ultrasounds every week to ease my mind. I find what’s helped, is my Doppler. I purchased on on Amazon and brings a sense of calmness because as long as you hear the heartbeat, you know that baby is fine. So maybe try to purchase one and see if that helps

You’re going to do just fine. I worried about that too, I’ve never been motherly. Then I had my son and it’s like everything just changes. Never be afraid to ask questions, it will naturally come to you, and you will learn as you go

I have so much anxiety now that I'm over 20 weeks, even though all scans and all tests come out normal I still have this fear that something can go wrong. I'm so scared of losing my son, I don't know why I have all this fear but I wish I can make it go away. Does anyone else have this fear?
