Hey mamas, first time mom here. So my baby is currently on Similac Sensitive but will be gassy and fussy after feeding. Is there any chance he could be lactose intolerant or have a milk allergy? Should I try Similac Alimentum?

How do you know if your baby has a milk allergy? She sounds better on similac alimentum but doesn't pass gas and is hard to burp. Similac is making her constipated

Kinda going through this now! You’ll know If baby has blood in stool, projectile vomiting/spitting up after every feed to name a few. I’d call baby’s dr to let them know the symptoms you’re experiencing. They can tell you right away!

I've told them about it and they never say anything I had to go to a local doctor's office and they told me they think she needs to be on nutramigen since similac constipates her. I even told the pediatrician that she had a bloody stool once and they didn't say anything

I just found out that the allergy test is a scratch test for babies. They don’t just draw blood, they inject the allergens in her back 😫 I pray she’s not allergic to anything 😭

Yes my baby daddy got it as a kid and said he was traumatized 😳 I pray that it’s gotten better and that everything goes well w your little one

Anyone else’s baby struggle with cow’s milk allergy, also known as CMPA (Cow’s Milk Protein Allergy)? My little girl just got diagnosed the other day (which I mean I knew since week 2 but finally her doctor decided to listen to me about testing her.)

Does anyone's baby have a milk allergy/sensitivity? What were the symptoms, and what formula do you recommend? I stopped my baby's reflux with Enfamil AR, but she's still screaming with stomach pain multiple times a day with no gas

They vary. Most of the time, they're very thick and a grayish green. Lately she's been pooping twice a day, the first one is the thick green and the second one has mucus and is bright yellow

Has anyone had their child inherit an allergy from them or their family member? Although it's undiagnosed, I have a pretty severe reaction to bananas (my throat gets tight, and I break out in small hives and start to itch everywhere if I even touch the peel or smell them) My grandmother also has almost identical reactions to carrots so it makes curious if my daughter will inherit an uncommon allergy from either of us.

Im allergic to seafood and nuts and I was told no it doesn’t . Introduce it to them early when you get ready to start solids. But still keep an eye out though I don’t listen to doctors when it comes to some stuff because we don’t know how our child would react. But introducing it to them early can prevent them from being allergic

Allergies can definitely be hereditary. It’s very important you tell their pediatrician about your allergy and the severity of it. They may order allergy tests for her to safely find out what she is and is not allergic to.

he’s super fussy crying and screaming a lot he hiccups a lot and throwing up when hiccuping he’s barley sleeping cuz he’s up crying and his belly keeps making funny noises and it just all around seems to be bothering him we have him on the purple formula right now and it’s just gotten worse on the yellow can he was throwing up a lot now he’s just crying all day and super fussy and kinda inconsolable its stressful

I think I’m developing a pet allergy 🙃 I’ve been having bad muscle aches and sore itchy throat and watery eyes at night (when the dog is in the room) but if I’m out I’m fine 😅 can you develop a new allergy when pregnant? A lot of people in Baby daddy’s side of the family are allergic to dogs to I don’t know if that has anything to do with it
