What foods should I avoid during pregnancy?

While pregnant, you should avoid certain foods to protect your baby.


Once you are pregnant, avoid the following foods:

  • Soy and products that contain soy
  • Sweeteners such as aspartame
  • Products enriched with phytosterols, which are found in some yogurts, kinds of margarine, and dairy drinks.
  • Beverages containing caffeine (coffee, tea, sodas, energy drinks)
  • Wild fish (swordfish, tuna, shark, pike, etc.)
  • Liver and all liver-based products
  • Excessively sugary products


Don't panic, this specific diet is transitory. You will return to a normal diet in 9 months!

what foods should i avoid, i found out i was pregnant yesterday &’ i know the first 3 months are critical, &’ i just want to be cautious.
