Burping your baby: must-do
If there's one funny thing, especially in the middle of the night, it's baby's burp.
- Joking aside, as strange as it may seem, burping your baby after each feed is a big deal.
- A step that should not be neglected as soon as the feeding is over. Burping allows the newborn to eliminate all the air swallowed while drinking.
- Burping helps reduce the risk of colic, regurgitation and other problems.
- From the first feed onward, remember to burp your baby after, every single time. Keep her upward on you for a few minutes, help your baby if necessary by lightly patting the back, and wait for the little burp before putting her back to sleep!
