I be 26 weeks Thursday and really wanna do a maternity shoot before my baby shower which is in January but every one is sooooooo damn expensive $400 - $500 for a shoot is so much 😩🤦🏾♀️

Should I take a shower before going to the maternity ward?
To relax the mom-to-be or make sure that she is not in false labor, a shower before going to the maternity ward can be a great idea.
- Very often, during a first pregnancy, future mothers are anxious at the idea of not recognizing the beginning of labor.
- Especially at the end of pregnancy, certain contractions, called “Braxton Hicks contractions”, can be misleading.
- A warm shower or bath can help you calm these false contractions and relax, helping you recognize false labor.
- If your contractions are regular and close together, between 5 and 30 minutes each and lasting 30 to 45 seconds, labor has begun!
- A shower will allow you to relax and refresh yourself before leaving for the maternity ward.
- If your water has broken, take a shower rather than a bath.
- You are ready to deliver your baby!

I'm looking to do my maternity pictures on Feb 5 the same day as my baby shower as well. What's the best and cheapest place to find a maternity dress for photos and baby shower. Don't want to spend alot since I'm only wearing it one time. :)

Had my baby shower yesterday at 33 weeks! Nursery is done. All that’s left before baby girl comes is washing her crib sheets, swaddles and clothes and our maternity photo shoot first week of November! Am I missing anything?!

I have taken off a week of work this week and it’s feels so good lol also I wanted to get my house together and organized before my baby shower this Saturday and I just bring everything back in here… also I go on maternity leave October 20th 🥰🥰🥰

Does it make sense to do my maternity shoot the week before or after my baby shower. I wanted to do it the day of bc hair and makeup will already be done, but that’s too much for 1 day.

How do y’all feel about maternity pictures? This is my first baby and I already found a photographer and I’m super excited to get them done and have them before my shower. But my mom thinks it’s a waste of money.

Never had them with my son and didnt get them done this time with my daughter. They are nice to have especially for first time mom but not for everyone personally ive been miserable my entire pregnancy and i just cant wait for it to be over. Plus I dont find myself photogenic and there are way more important things to use that kind of money on like stuff for the baby lol. Im more practical

i don’t know how many weeks should I be for me to take my maternity pictures 🫣 I don’t wanna take them to early nor to late I’m having my baby shower some time in august I’m due Oct 4 so is like some time before my baby shower is that good enough lol I’m not sure which day in august will by baby shower be but I know July 26 I’ll be 30 weeks so like yeah august is a good time right ? Most people recommend about 34 weeks because of the bump is more noticeable and easy to be seen in the picture but u can always take them when u want to. I'm going to take mine her in the next week or 2
