Separation of parents of a 2-year-old

A 2-year-old child is already very attentive and understands a lot about the world around him. How do you approach the separation of his parents with him?

  • First of all, you should know that a young child is a real sponge for emotions.
  • Even if they don't speak perfectly yet, they pick up on parents' anxiety, sadness, or anger.
  • Protect them by not arguing with the father in front of them.
  • When parents separate with a 2-year-old, the mom usually gets custody so as not to disrupt the child's safety and development.
  • The father has regular visiting rights.

I’m currently 17 weeks pregnant 🀰🏽 with a little baby boy and I’m also a mom to 5 kids too. I’m also going through a separation with my husband. We separated for 3 weeks. I’m just wondering if anyone has ever experienced this and any advice please

Stay strong and keep your head up always, even when things seem to be getting difficult and the most important thing... don't forget to ask for help. ❀️

I'm emotional, I'm going through a separation process right now with my husband / baby father. & I chose to walk away. I'm just so lonely. But I don't want to go back
