Tips for separated parents

If you've separated from your child's father and are wondering how to manage this new arrangement, here are some tips.

  • Keep in mind that the well-being of your little one always comes before the tensions that may exist with your former partner.
  • Never put your son or daughter in the role of referee between their separated parents.
  • Don't talk negatively about Dad or ask your child to watch him or her in a joint custody arrangement.
  • Find a common ground with your ex to educate your child according to the same rules and to not disrupt their daily life.

me and my baby daddy ended things but I’m happy cause now I don’t have to worry about other shit. Just me and our baby boy. I rather the baby pickup happy energy from us separated than get sadness from me.

It’s not easy right! I love this man but standing my ground this time especially with baby on the way. I left because he’s been irresponsible and selfish and a needle finally broke the camels back. He’s realizing things apparently which is good and I’m hoping for continued progress. What about you ladies?
