Separation of the couple: how to cope?

Going through a separation is not easy, but a few tips can help you cope and start a new life.

  • Don't deny things and accept the separation when it becomes inevitable.
  • Don't isolate yourself; instead, get out, see your family and friends and open up to others.
  • Don't let anger take over - it's normal to feel resentful, especially in the beginning, but letting it take over won't help you.
  • Don't hide things from your children and take the time to explain the separation to them in simple words, without going into details that are none of their business.

My 4 month old has separation anxiety already. I wish I had a job that required or offered me to stay home cause mannnn I’d be on that like a fat man on hot cakes. I hate being away from my baby. I was told to stop having her sleep with me and since I did that her sleep has been so bad all I do is cry with her. 😔😭

Don’t listen to folks. If you feel like co-sleeping. Then do so. My mom has 7 kids and she did the same thing with all of her kids. Do what’s best for you

My oldest had it until he was 5. We would lay a shirt that smelled like me on his chest to help him sleep, we would let my in laws keep him for a few hours then moved on to them having him overnight. It’s not a bad thing momma. We are their safe place so it’s bound to happen at some point.
