When y’all are counting your contractions are y’all counting from start to finish. Like from when it first gets tight until it’s no longer tight or until your no longer uncomfortable? && how do you count back contractions? Like I’m sure I’m having those but idk how to count it if that’s even a thing.

I kind of wished we didn’t have to do kick counts towards the end of pregnancy because we all know these babiss hardly have any room left and my baby girl is active but only when I’m not trying to do kick counts. I feel like I would have to catch her then run and lay down and start counting randomly out somewhere lol 😂

I just pay attention to movement. If I feel him moving throughout the day I don’t worry about it. If he’s having a quiet day then I’ll try to count. My dr said 3 movements in an hour is ok. But otherwise I don’t do kick counts

I feel guilty; I haven’t been kick-counting. My baby is very active and barely even sleeps, which is why I haven’t been doing it. It wasn’t required with my first pregnancy. Are any of you ladies guilty of not kick-counting? 😬 #kickcounting #35weeks #babymovement

I don’t kick count at all. Lol I just pay attention to the times she’s most active. My OB never told me to count, just always asks if she’s active.

I felt the same as you but i did an ultrasound yesterday and i see that she be moving a lot, I just don't feel it yet!! I also read that your 3rd trimester is when you need to evaluate kick counts. You have a few weeks left before going into your 3rd. Remember all pregnancies, bodies, and babies are different. Enjoy your journey😊

It’s takes longer, with my first I didn’t feel consistent strong movements until 26 plus weeks. Pregnant for the second time and I feel consistent strong movements starting 19ish weeks

Do you start counting dpo on the day you got a positive ovulation test? I got a positive ovulation test on 7/11 and am having trouble figuring how many dpo I am.

Peak ovulation test usually means ovulation is next day.
So peak on 7/11, ovulation 7/12 so today would be 8dpo

When did your doctor tell you to start counting kicks? I'm 27 weeks today and they haven't told me too yet but I think it's because I told them I have severe anxiety 😅

I'm not sure if doctors mention about counting kicks.
I'm 29 weeks and I just took it upon myself lol. I think you can start at 28 weeks.
