What Your Baby Feels When You Have Sex

What Your Baby Feels When You Have Sex
One common concern is whether your baby can feel anything during sexual activity.
Sensations and Movements
Your baby is nestled in the cozy sanctuary of your womb, protected by layers of muscles and amniotic fluid. While they may not experience the specific sensations you feel during sex, they can sense the gentle movements and vibrations caused by your intimate moments.
The rhythmic rocking, swaying, and gentle bouncing can create a soothing sensation for your little one.
Rhythm and Sound
The rhythm of your body during sexual activity can be felt by your baby, creating a comforting and familiar experience.
The gentle movements and changes in your breathing patterns transmit a sense of harmony to your little one.
Additionally, the sounds produced during sex, such as your heartbeat and breathing, can be heard by your baby, adding to their sensory experience.
Hormonal Influence
Engaging in sexual activity triggers the release of hormones like oxytocin and endorphins in your body.
These hormones contribute to feelings of pleasure, relaxation, and bonding.
The amazing part is that these mood-enhancing chemicals can cross the placenta and reach your baby, potentially creating a sense of well-being and contentment for them too!
Gain Deeper Insights
Emotional Connection
Intimacy with your partner is not just about physical sensations but also about fostering a deeper emotional connection.
When you experience feelings of love, closeness, and pleasure, these emotions can have a positive impact on your overall well-being, and in turn, your baby's development.
A happy and emotionally nurtured mom can contribute to a harmonious environment for your little one.
So, the next time you wonder what your baby feels when you have sex, remember that while they may not comprehend the specifics, they are undoubtedly benefiting from the positive energy, sensations, and emotional connection you and your partner share.
Quick tips for a comfortable and enjoyable experience:
  • Listen to your body and communicate with your partner about your needs and comfort levels.
  • Experiment with different positions that accommodate your growing belly and minimize discomfort.
  • Use pillows or supportive props to find the most comfortable position for you.
  • Keep the lines of communication open with your healthcare provider and address any concerns or discomfort you may have.
  • Remember, every pregnancy is unique, so trust your instincts and do what feels right for you and your baby.

I definitely feel you on this.. i feel like its 50/50 with me and my man.. when im in the mood, he isnt & vise versa😩 but dont let it get you down, just encourage each other & make sure you guys both have a good understanding as to why its doesn’t feel right in that moment. It’s different for everyone and men sometimes dont understand that 90% of the time our emotions get us feeling some type of way over the smallest things.. you’ve got this mama!!

Thank you love. I just hope the attraction will be back once baby is born. Def has me in my feelings. It’s interesting how you don’t expect these kinda things. I’m glad it’s normal. Pregnancy has brought out my insecurities, but keeping my head up. 🥹

What do it feel like when you first feel your baby kick ?? I'm not sure if that's what I'm feeling but it feels crazy like pressure pushing on the inside going outwards ...

Typically the first kicks you feel tend to feel like you have butterflies in your stomach. That’s what it felt like for me. I have a posterior placenta so I felt my son kick when I was 15w and 4d

So me and my hubby had sex this morning and I was on top well when we got done my chest started to hurt like when you run and you're fat and your chest feels like its gonna explode that's how I feel. Also a bit of cramping when I sit up but mainly its just my chest that is hurting I'm worried
