Relief tips for labor pain and contractions

We're not going to lie to you: contractions can be very painful. However, the good news is that you can learn how to relieve them.

  • If you're looking for natural tips on how to deal with the pain of contractions, practice deep breathing by blowing deeply and for as long as possible until the contraction passes.
  • Take a shower or bath in warm water.
  • Put a heating pad on your belly or on your kidneys.
  • Move around, walk, dance, or move slowly using an exercise ball.
  • Ask for a lower back massage.
  • Stretch to relax your muscles.
  • Find a position that allows you to relax between contractions.

Thank you so much Charlotte for the tip! I finally found it! I think I was finding the placenta/umbilical cord before because it wasn't making the galloping sound! Ugh what a relief ❤️
