Preterm labor, do we panic or not?
When everything doesn't go exactly to plan, sometimes the medical team that follows your pregnancy is forced to rush the baby a little.
- Hypertension, gestational diabetes, fetal distress, too little or too much weight… there are many reasons to consider an early induction.
- But don't panic!
- Even if the baby has to be born a little earlier, the management of premature babies is now perfect and doctors will not make any decision that could jeopardize the well-being of the baby.
- So, before term or not, make the most of this great moment that is childbirth!

Anybody know about elective induction I refuse to be pregnant for too long I want to request a induction

I think if you aren’t high risk most doctors won’t do elective induction until 38-39 weeks. I am scheduled for an elective induction this Tuesday and I’ll be 39 weeks and 4 days.

My induction has been scheduled for July 16 th at 6 pm unless baby girl comes sooner! Any tips for induction? Anything extra I should pack for an induction?

Nope I have been induced twice, I would say make sure you get a good meal in before, because once everything starts there is no food and depends on baby how long you will be there for and you will only be able to eat and suck on ice and have a few sips of water. So have a good meal the night before and before you to hospital. As far as bag goes you won't need anything extra I always pack 3 outfits for baby plaus going home outfit in case outfit for you and a night gown.

i don’t know much, since i haven’t been in that position yet, but i was in the room when my friend was getting induced, i don’t think you need to pack anything extra, just know if they induce you using Pitocin the contractions are stronger from what i hear 😭

I think i’m experiencing preterm labor AND braxton hicks contractions. I am scheduled for induction on Monday (17th) but I don’t think im going to make it … but i’ll try.. jus wait a lil longer baby girl ‼️💖😫😫

My due date is March 10th. Last week I was given an induction date of March 8th. 🤣🤣🤣 That's the whole damn bid!! I can't wait until Friday! I'm gone start the induction process my damn self! 🥳 What's killing me about my baby is, WE WERE JUST IN PRETERM LABOR!! NOW THAT ITS SAFE TO COME OUT, YOUR ASS IN THERE CHILLING?? 🤣 WE GONE TUSSLE A LIL BIT WHEN I FINALLY MEET HER ASS!! 😭😭😭
