Oily hair during pregnancy

Since the baby's arrival, your hair tends to be greasier than it's ever been before... Don't worry, you're not alone...

And, yes, among the joys of pregnancy, greasy hair is a major concern. Hormonal changes tend to compromise the balance of the sebaceous glands, which are responsible for excessive sebum production. In the end, your hair looks like it's full of hair gel!

To limit the damage, take care of your hair as much as possible.

  • Use a gentle shampoo, and avoid aggressive treatments such as blow-drying, straightening, or even coloring.
  • Use natural products as much as possible and don't hesitate to book an appointment with your favorite hairdresser!

This pregnancy got me breaking out, acne is crazy oily skin, my hair oily yet like gets frizzy and tangled, craving mostly sweet stuff occasionally salty stuff but it can't be to salty then I'll get nauseated. I was nauseated like crazy my first trimester nauseated like everything I ate and lack of appetite, this trimester im not nauseated as often but when I get nauseated its more like a nauseating heartburn.

So before I got pregnant I would bleach and dye my hair a lot but I haven’t did it lately. Hair had grown crazy and color faded. Is it ok if I do it while pregnant? #newmom #hairdying

Yes. I’m 19’weeks today and have been STRUGGLING with this acne. I’ve been using Tula sensitive skin products and the Tula Clean and Clear gel (I think that’s what it’s called) that has been saving me

Yes I get more acne pregnant especially when I'm carrying a girl.. I sell skin care products so using them daily faithfully has helped minimize the acne problems

Let’s have some fun!!! What am I having a girl or a boy… I am currently 11 weeks pregnant! -No morning sickness or nausea! -I crave real meals (no sweets). In fact if something is to sweet I don’t even like it! -no acne -I actually don’t even feel pregnant other than being tired 🥱 - carrying small. But definitely a growing baby! -no head aches -I’m glowing like a lightening bug!!! Very oily skin!!!! -and hair is growing very fast (may be due to vitamins) This is just fun!!! I find out for sure in a few days!
