What maternity leave for a second baby?

The time to welcome your 2nd baby is coming and the organization of your maternity leave will soon become one of your main concerns.

• Do you have any special rights if you already have a child?
• If you are expecting an only child, your maternity leave will be identical to that of your first pregnancy, i.e. 6 weeks before and 10 weeks after the birth.
• It is only after the third child that the maternity leave is extended by a few weeks.
• As for your benefits, they will not be modified in any way, since the number of dependent children is not taken into consideration in their calculation.
