How long does maternity leave last?

Even if your pregnancy is going great, you will welcome maternity leave as a breath of fresh air!

  • But by the way, what will you be entitled to?
  • If this is your first or second child, the total maternity leave will be 16 weeks, i.e. 6 weeks before the birth of your baby and 10 weeks after.
  • On the other hand, if you already have 2 children, you will be entitled to 26 weeks, with a distribution of 8 weeks before the birth and 18 after.
  • Finally, if you are expecting twins, or more, your maternity leave will total 34 weeks!
  • Enough to enjoy your baby(s) to the fullest!
