What is a hyperactive child?

Your child can't stay still and is always making mistakes, but does that mean they are hyperactive? We'll tell you.

  • Don't worry, a child with a lot of energy is not necessarily hyperactive.
  • Hyperactivity is a psychiatric disorder that affects about 5% of children in France.
  • In addition to being very agitated, a hyperactive child also has difficulty concentrating and is impulsive.
  • For example, he will interrupt conversations, overtake friends in line...
  • Only a qualified professional, neuropsychologist, and/or pediatrician, can establish the diagnosis of hyperactivity on the basis of specific tests and questionnaires.

Had my first ultrasound today got to see my little baby 😭🥰 I’m so in love. She said the heart rate was 172 (idk if he/she was hyperactive or irritated lmao) he/she had the hiccups as well lol got genetic testing done too so I’m hoping to find out the gender prediction in about 10 days 🤞🏾💙

Not 100% ttc, but I got some not so good news yesterday. I found out that I am pre diabetic and I have a hyperactive thyroid. The second one could explain why my periods are so irregular. I also read that could be why I’m having a hard time conceiving. Hopefully I will get my baby! Please send some baby dust my way! Lord knows that I need it!

I cried when I got both of those results back. What do you do to help with your hypothyroidism?

I started having severe period like cramps with no discharge or blood at 26 weeks, so I was worried he was trying to come early. But nothing was showing preterm labor, and they noticed that I do have uterine irritability. Which is the same thing as hyperactive uterus! My OB put me on daily medication that’s safe for pregnancy to help calm it down until about 37 weeks! I’m at 31 weeks now!

Patience is the most important thing you can have. My oldest is hyperactive and high functional autism and he gets bored with work doesn’t talk like normal kids his age. It’s a work in progress but keep doing sounds with him everyday. Pronunciations. Flash cards. And also try to make it fun for him learning wise. Come up with ideas on how to make him come back for more. Like it’s my kids I noticed they like songs so I make everything in a song and now they sing it none stop even in school.
