I did all my dental work today and I’m so happy now. Lol I was oddly worried about pregnancy effecting my gums and teeth. Lol but all is well.

My son had pink eye 2 weeks ago and now I woke up this morning with it 🤦. I did a urgent care video visit and told them I was pregnant and they prescribed me Moxifloxacin hcl. I googled it and I'm still not sure that it's safe to take during pregnancy even though the lady I spoke with said that it was. Has anyone ever used it during pregnancy and everything turned out ok?

It is safe. I used to work in 3 hospitals. Just an FYI, the hospital will not prescribe something to a pregnant mother if it is NOT safe.
They will not risk their careers prescribing something that is harmful to a pregnant mother. What also helps, is asking them these questions before leaving since many women on here will tell you yes and some will say no.

Y'all untill I got pregnant with my first and now this one, I never believed babies make your dental health verrrry bad but just this pregnancy I've had two teeth that now have bad spots. One was pretty bad after my first but it got worst with this pregnancy and then one at the very back (3rd from the back) had a hole which was causing paint I got something stuck went to brush my teeth and floss and now it's like the tooth is almost in half, and I'm very very strong on dental hygiene so it's def not from Not taking care of them lol! Please tell me I'm not the only one?

I haven’t had this exact problem but I have never had any cavities in my life and then bam I get pregnant and I have 5, 3 on top and 2 on bottom from when I was throwing up in the beginning. Apparently the acid from throwing up can cause that. I was only able to get 2 fixed though because the other ones are where my wisdom teeth are and I have to get those removed first but can’t do so while pregnant. It was definitely saddening when I found out

yes! ive never had cavities in my life and now i’m pregnant i find out i have my very first cavity 😣 and have to wait till i give birth to get a filling since im so close to my due date.

Do y’all have recommendations for bleeding gums during pregnancy? Usually they don’t bleed at all but it’s pretty bad and the bottle gums are super sensitive so if anyone knows what I can use lmk plz😩❤️ I like to take care of my teeth lol
