How to wash baby bottles properly?

Milk, soups, fruit juices... After each meal, dirt and germs can quickly develop in the bottles, so it is necessary to wash them well and even sterilize them.

  • Did you know that your baby is only immune from the third month after birth, it is important to sterilize your baby's bottles after each feeding until she is five months old.
  • Sterilization of the disassembled bottle can be done in the microwave, in boiling water, or with an electric sterilizer.
  • The bottle should then be reassembled and closed until the next feeding.
  • From the age of five months, if sterilization is no longer recommended, the bottle should be washed thoroughly after each use.
  • Take it apart and immerse each part (nipple, thread, body, and cap) in hot water containing washing-up liquid.
  • Use a brush rather than a sponge to get to the bottom of the bottle and let it air dry upside down.

So I'm on day #3 of having covid. I've been wearing a mask around my soon to be 3 month old and washing and sanitizing my hands frequently. How would I know if my baby is sick from me ? She isn't acting like she is I just wanna make forsure. She's been eating her whole bottle. She's been peeing and pooping. She's been sleeping regularly. She hasn't been cranky. Please just lmk mommas !! 🥺❤️‍🩹😘

Just look out for any fussiness, any temp above 100.4 and check on breathing every time u change diaper to make sure baby isn’t retracting.

Started washing bottles today 🙌🏽🍼 How many bottles of each brand are you washing? So far I have mostly Medela and Dr. Brown, and I have washed 2-3 5oz bottles. Ideally I’m hoping baby takes Dr. Brown, but it doesn’t hurt to have another option!

All together I bought Nuk, Dr Brown’s and Avent (4 pack of each) I’ll most likely start off with 2 of each brand til baby decides which ones he likes most lol
