The bottle warmer: parents' best ally

Not essential, but very practical to bring the baby's bottle to the right temperature, the bottle warmer is the parents' best ally, at home as well as on the move.

  • Based on the water bath principle, electric bottle warmers bring the bottle to the right temperature, i.e. between 95 and 102°F.
  • If you're an adventurous mom, the mobile bottle warmer can be plugged in anywhere, thanks to its car cigarette lighter adapter, USB plug, or electrical outlet.
  • In recent years, a new generation of bottle warmers has appeared, resembling espresso machines with capsules, you simply put the dose of water and milk powder and press the button.
  • Before giving your baby a bottle, even after using the bottle warmer, check the temperature of the milk by putting a drop on your wrist.

Is a bottle warmer worth it or should I just continue to use hot water to warm bottles

Are bottle warmers an essential? I’m making my registry and I was wondering if I should add a bottle warmer to it.

Good morning, mamas!!! Does anyone else have this bottle warmer? When I tell you this thing gets hot, it gets hot. Lol. My son only gets breastmilk via tit or bottle. I love this warmer for in the morning when I'm bathing him or I use it a few minutes before he wakes up from his naps. I find it to be more effective than heating up water and sitting the bottle in it.

yeah, that's why I use it 15 minutes before it's time for him to eat. It allows the milk to cool to the perfect temp just in time.

SOOOO PEEVED! When we are home I usually just nurse Zoey because she works on the bottle at daycare and I prefer she get feed. I was given a new bottle for her daycare to try as she’s using it successfully during the day and her nana got me a bottle warmer as the daycare said she doe’s better with the milk warmed BUT IT DOES NOTHING! People are trying to be so helpful and generous so I’m trying them out, but it made me feel like I was punishing my daughter. And as for her milk being warmed I don’t know… when they say “warm” what do they mean by “warm”? My personal version of warm is different for a baby… and I don’t think the bottle warmer “warmed” the milk like it does in my head (I know I’m sucking at explaining this). In my head warm from a bottle warmer is luke warm water temperature, but it’s still cold but not as cold after 4 minutes in the warmer. 😢 And this particular batch of breast milk was frozen so I only have 24 hours to use it or all the work my body did producing the milk is wasted (yes I made breast milk soap, but we don’t go through it that quickly)!!!

I've used frozen breast milk 2 days later. I'm sure your baby will be fine.

Frozen breastmilk can be stored for up to 6 months actually so I wouldn’t worry but you can do a milk bath for baby instead if you feel more comfortable

Do you guys have a bottle warmer? Is it necessary to have one? I plan to breastfeed and then pump when I go back to work.

Really made warming up bottles quicker for us. We loved it with my second. Got it set up for this baby too. But I’ve got a pretty good schedule of pumping before she’s fed right now so we don’t need it at the moment

have lots of tommee tippee bottles & MAMs bottles. Any bottle warmer recommendations that can at least warm the bottle in 5 minutes? & preferably can fit one of these brands.

I feel like the mam ones could fit in the Walmart warmer. Give me a few minutes and I’ll go check

I was asked if I would like a baby bottle warmer and I gave the look of “a what?” Lol maybe I was doing it wrong the first time but my first was a “room temperature baby” and never had issues. I never put bottle in microwave, stove or a warmer. Was this just me?
