How long were you first time moms in labor for? And how long did you push for? Getting induced Tuesday and I’m super nervous!!

So I started going into labor at home, tried to wait it out as long as I could (I absolutely hate hospitals) and about a day later went in and because my contractions didn’t match my dilation, they put me on pitocin to help speed it up. So I was in there for 36 hours total

With my son I worked all the way until I had him and I plan to do the same with this one as long as everything goes well. Everybody is different though, I’d say just listen to your body and you’ll know when it’s time.

Well baby is in your uterus so that's impossible. Unless you Mean on top of your bladder?? And for me. That was my whole pregnancy

I’m 36+5 days My OB told me that I am 1 cm dilated and my baby is already in position This is my first pregnancy, Like how long you think i might be in labor?

This is my first pregnancy also but from everything I have learned there is no telling how long you will be in labor. It's very normal for weeks early to start dilating.
