Postpartum depression is sometimes confused with the baby blues, especially in the early days. What exactly is it?
- Although there are some similarities, the signs of postpartum depression are more intense and last longer than those of the baby blues.
- It usually develops in the weeks following delivery, but can sometimes appear during pregnancy or up to a year after birth.
