So kinda of a tmi question. I just started my first period after giving birth to my son 2 months ago, I started on the 11th, how long are periods after birth supposed to last? I googled it and it said like 6 weeks but idk if I meant like the after birth bleeding or a menstrual period

How soon after giving birth do yāall plan on wearing a belly band/wrap? Past two pregnancies I waited until 2-3 weeks after, at the earliestā¦ I saw this mom on TikTok immediately put it on in the hospital. Wondering if perhaps Iāve been waiting too long.

I was wondering the same. I've worn mine maybe 3 times, I just don't be thinking about it with everything else going on. I'm going to put a reminder on my phone to get back to it though

How did you keep your weight up after giving birth? I was 133.6 lbs before giving birth and then was 121.3 lbs after giving birth. I have been losing weight since giving birth as I am 119 lbs today.

Are you breastfeeding? My lactation consultant really stressed eating around 500 more calories daily bc breastfeeding does drain you of a lot and results in weight loss

Has anyone experienced swelling feet 4 or 5 days after giving birth? If so how did you get the swelling to go down

Iām not due until November, but my doctor says swelling typically isnāt fully gone until about 2 weeks after birth. Something to do with your kidneys getting back right & flushing out fluids.

Yes! Iām almost 2 months PP I was swollen 2-3 weeks after giving birth my hands took a little longer. Drink a lot of water.

There is a lot of pressure on your kidneys happening. Takes a bit to get back to normal. Just dont be like me and have swelling for 7 months before saying something to a doc š

How long did you bleed after giving birth? I just had my baby a week ago & I had a second degree tear but i'm not bleeding anymore. I have some spotting every now & then but no more heavy blood.
