Mamas who have Gestational Diabetes and have to check your blood sugar every day, how do you manage your fasting blood sugar? How you get it to stay down where it needs to be? My OB has me on Metformin twice a day, plus including but only at night. But my fasting numbers are still kind of high

well I have to check mine 4x a day && my fasting numbers I manage them by checking my blood sugar like as soon as I roll over out the bed before I use the bathroom or anything I check it

In my previous pregnancies I just made sure my dinners consisted of more veggies instead of carbs And sugars and I didn’t eat anything after 6-7.

I’m surprised your still on metformin. My high risk dr took me off that and placed me on insulin only. They said the metformin can cause pre term labor

Update so far lol so mon slight cramp n twinge w a very lil pink when I wiped... period was suppose to be here thur , fri ... here it is sun n no period n prob no signs of it coming either ... cross ur fingers that this may finally be the time 🙂 wish me all the baby dust ya got lol

Working & being a mom is the one thing I'm already regretting. I work 24 hour shifts. So it stresses me out thinking about it & I still have 30 weeks before my baby is here.
