Hey everyone! Over the past few years I have come to terms with being a hypochondriac when it comes to my health. I am in my first trimester of pregnancy as a first time mom and my anxiety is getting triggered so much lately with all of the body symptoms and changes that are happening. Does anyone have any tips they can share on how to overcome these triggers?

I know its hard! But try to stay positive and keep yourself productive so that your mind is busy. You’re okay do not stress yourself out. Wishing you a great pregnancy! You got this mama

So baby does have a heart.. but. They’ve implanted very close to my c section scar. If they grow upwards I will be fine and can keep the pregnancy. If they grow down or cross the scar line we have to terminate 🥺. I am very worried. We will have close follow up to monitor vitality of the pregnancy. Baby is 6w3d Please pray they move up #prayers

Will I be forced by doctor's orders to be hospitalized and put on bed rest where they can monitor my eating habits due to me not gaining any weight durning my pregnancy? Every time I go in for follow up which is every 4 weeks my doctor has a discerning look due to me not looking pregnant/ having a belly. I am damn near in the third trimester and I think she believes I'm starving my baby or something keep in mind I'm currently 190lbs 5'10 my pre- pregnancy weigh was 164lbs and I been stuck at 190 my entire 2nd trimester going in to third no weight gain since not even a pound but my baby is measuring perfectly on schedule

No, I don’t think you have anything to worry about. I’ve gained 0 pounds my entire pregnancy, I’ve lost 11 pounds total instead and I’m currently 34 weeks +4 days. No bed rest or hospitalizations needed.

Went in for my follow up ultrasound baby has grown but there is no heartbeat. Anyone else not have a heartbeat at almost 8 weeks. I started bleeding yesterday light not heavy and no cramps. Doctor thinks it’s a possible miscarriage. Anyone have a similar case and had a health pregnancy?

The World Health Organization states that maternity care should aim to achieve a healthy mother & child with the least intervention possible. Nearly half of all expectant mothers in the U.S. receive drugs to begin labor, more than half receive drugs to speed up labor & more than 80% receive drugs to dull labor pain. According to the National Center for Health Statistics, more than 90% of laboring mothers have their babies heart rates tracked continuously by EFMs. Despite all these helpful interventions, the U.S. cesarean rate is at an all-time high: almost one third of American babies are born surgically. This far exceeds the 6% rate considered to be reasonable by the World Health Organization. Ask. Questions. Challenge. Answers.

Dang, that's crazy! I will have to say though my first pregnancy I carried till 42 weeks and they wouldn't let me past that so induction. But my second pregnancy at 37 weeks (I was done and just wanted baby out!) My doctor gave me a c-section, not even trying to talk me out of it and now I wish he wouldn't have given in so easily because I really wanted to experience natural birth. This time, I have to have a C-section due to previous 2 and the fact that I'm high risk

We are taught so little about our bodies, about pregnancy, labor & birth, it’s truly criminal! Luckily there are resources out there, but if no one tells us than we’ll never know! I’m sorry to hear that maybe things hadn’t gone as well as planned, but I hope you & your babies are all healthy & well!✨
