Should you breastfeed your child for 2 years or more?

Breastfeeding is recognized as beneficial for your baby's health, but it is often frowned upon by our society when your baby is a few months or even 1 or 2 years old. What you need to know:

  • You don't risk increasing your child's dependency by breastfeeding longer, because breastfeeding also provides emotional security, which is essential to help your child become independent.
  • The WHO recommends breastfeeding for up to 2 years and even longer, depending on the wishes of the mother and child.
  • From the age of 6 months, you can introduce solid foods into your child's meals, in addition to breast milk.

Feeling intimidated about birth control now that our baby is born. Since we're breastfeeding, it could be a long time before having another menstrual cycle.

Breastfeeding mommies, how long do y’all baby stay on the breast? It’s like every time I breast feed her 10 minutes later she back on the boob. I normally just bottle feed. To make sure she’s getting enough

So guys the babydad lives 14 hours away and he won’t see the baby very often for obvious reasons (flight costs).. i’m wondering when a good time would be to send him with the baby without my presence if i’m not breastfeeding and how long?
