Flat head: a pillow for baby

If you have noticed that your baby's head is flat on one side, there are specially designed pillows to help you:

  • Flat head pillows, or head-shaping pillows, made of comfortable memory foam.
  • The curves of the pillow support the baby's head and reduce the pressure on the skull.
  • The pillow raises the back of the head a little so that the weight does not distort baby's soft skull.
  • Baby should be on his back, with his head centered in the middle.
  • Flat head pillows also secure baby from rolling over.

If he does the doctor will have him wear a head shaper helmet for a couple months.

So I know pillows and blankets aren’t supposed to be in the crib but what can I do?? My girl has reflux really bad so she’s comfortable laying on a flat thin pillow. If she’s not, she will kick her legs all night. My fiancé says it’s fine cause she can’t roll over on her own yet but it makes me so nervous. She will cry and kick all night if she lays flat on her back. Please no judgement….

I’d consult her doctor but I do believe you can put a little wedge or pillow underneath the mattress of her crib to make it so she’s not directly on her back, to prop her up a little bit.

When my son thinks it's funny to use my boob as a pillow and wraps his arm underneath to lift it up for his head lol 😆

Bro, idk if it’s my flat ass or what, but I can’t sit without a pillow and even then it hurts my ass when I get up… is this me just sitting too long or effects of the epidural or wat, do y’all know?

Omg after I gave birth I had to use a donut cuz sitting hurt like a mf. Now that I’m all healed it still hurts to sit sometimes but I think it’s cuz I sit too much. My back hurts more though from getting the epidural and my fiancé basically says my back pain isn’t real from it🫠🥴
