Abdominal rehabilitation after childbirth

During your pregnancy, your entire abdomen is put to the test, which is why post-natal abdominal rehabilitation is essential.

  • Rehabilitating your abs has two objectives. The first is aesthetic: to get a firm and toned belly. The second concerns your health: to avoid lower back pain and gynecological and urinary problems.
  • Your gynecologist or your midwife can prescribe you abdominal rehabilitation sessions to be carried out by a professional.
  • Perineal rehabilitation should be done in parallel for optimal results.
  • Allow at least six to eight weeks of rehabilitation before you can resume your favorite sports activity.
