when is the soonest i can find out the gender ? i’m so nervous and excited !!! im only 5 weeks and 2 days. had my first appointment today and first ultrasound in 2 days.

Hey everyone! I heard the soonest you can blood test to find out the gender is 7-8 weeks is that true? If so, is it accurate?

If you use the at home one it's 6 weeks if you do the nipt through your doctor its 10 / 11 weeks

I added a question to the list of ob questions I have lol "When's the soonest we can find out the gender" Better we sooner than freaking 20 weeks 🙄lol I'm not spending $100 on a Amazon test tho lol

I'm getting my blood test next week to find out. They won't do it til I'm 12 weeks next week. It's cuz I'm overweight 🙄 I don't mind waiting a week and a half to find out though. Better than waiting til I'm 20 weeks

Omg last pregnancy I was forced to wait till 20 weeks and I don't even know why, I thought that's just the soonest they could tell till I found out after she was born that it can be sooner than 20 weeks lol

I found out at 16 weeks but I heard you normally get a blood test done during your normal visit and they can tell the gender by that

What's the soonest you can take a NIPT for accuracy ? I went online and saw that you can take it as early as 6/7 weeks. Is it still as accurate this early ?

Yes but most doctors don't offer it till like 10-13 weeks
