So, my mom thinks that after the baby is born I should think about taking birth control. However, I've heard stories where it can change how you begin to feel about your significant other. Is that always true? Can anyone give me advice on pills that are safe to take or anything you know about birth control pills? It's really starting to freak me out so idk what to do.

Change how exactly? I think I'm just a bit confused on what your fears are.

How do you know if you are having an ectopic pregnancy? I was on birth control but still got pregnant and got blood work done and it went from 5,000 hcg to 9,000 hcg but when ultrasound was done they didn’t find anything.

That is one way to tell if your levels are up but they don’t see anything in the uterus

So what type of birth control are you going on after you have your baby? Or are you not getting on anything?

Soo what are the chances of getting pregnant before you're 6 week check up? I've heard you can get pregnant really fast after having a baby has this happened to anyone else? We've had sex 3 times all unprotected but I do have about a month prescription of birth control can I go ahead and start taking them at 3 weeks postpartum? Nothing negative please

But I just started tracking my cycle in May and had my high fertility days so I don't know if that had anything to do with it which I'm sure it did because I never tracked my cycle like this before and never looked at my ovulating days and the first time I tracked it I actually got pregnant first try so it does work

If anyone is having trouble getting pregnant after birth control was gone. You can get this at either Amazon, Walgreen, CVS, or Walmart. BUT!! Consult with your doctor before taking them to make sure it’s okay. If you’re anything like me, i’m having trouble after being on the arm implant birth control for three years. So I am going to try this and see if it’ll work, hopefully so. ALSO remember to help more you could prop your legs in the air after sex for about a hour, it’ll increase chances!

I stopped taking the pill at the beginning of May. & so far have been unsuccessful in getting pregnant for both the months of May & June. For anyone else that has stopped taking birth control, how long after did you get pregnant? Does the pill even affect your chances after you stop taking it?

I've never taken birth control. I'll say that pregnancy doesn't really work automatically like that. Whether you were taking bc or not, it takes time.

Yes my dear it does….. it takes time for your body to cope to get pregnant after stopping birth control … Me too, I took off my implant last May 11 and still trying to get pregnant… Is almost 2 months now. So don’t give up… continue trying you will laugh one day!!

hi moms! I have a question, I'm a bit sad, confused, etc. Did you have problems having a baby after not taking birth control pills? How long did they have a baby?

I’ve been off birth control two years. I didn’t have a period for the first year & the second one I had a regular cycle.

But I was on the depo shot. Which I don’t recommend. And I had been trying or anticipating on being pregnant the whole second year just because me & my boyfriend weren’t being careful.

do you mamas recommend starting birth control after the 6 weeks or right away? I’m most definitely waiting the 6 weeks or even longer to do anything sexual either way but I’m just so unsure of when it would be best to start birth control again. And what’s a good birth control option other than the pill? I got pregnant on the pill 😩
