She's here! Made her arrival on the 15th. I did an all natural home birth and my husband delivered her. My midwife arrived about 30 seconds after she was born. She weighs a whopping 10lbs 9 oz!

Oh no, how did you know your baby have it??? What was her symptoms. I'm so scared because I have 4 sons that are school aged and I don't want them bringing nothing home to their sister.

Well we were at the hospital and i started to feel bad headaches, and baby was sneezing non stop so they decided to give us a test and we both tested positive i got it from the hospital

Anyone else having a home birth and worried because you are measuring far ahead due to a previous miscarriage? I know my December miscarriage messed up my fertility timing. Worried that I might go into labor earlier than 37 weeks because and risk out of care with my home birth midwife because my dates are off and baby is measuring ahead almost 2 weeks and I'm measuring ahead 5 weeks every appt. Feeling a little worried.

I wish I could. But having a prior c-section I'd feel better in the hospital in case things go wrong. But I'd love to do at home birth!

Have y’all thought about home births with a doula? I’m terrified of something happening to me or my baby but I wanted to have a home birth at the beginning of my pregnancy. I feel like your in a weird room with random people at a hospital but they know more than I do about birth than a home birth. I know I’ll have to be induced unless she makes it over the 10th percentile soon so I’d need to be at the hospital.

Any other mommas on here planing to do a home birth? I am, and I’m so excited! My mother in law is my midwife, and she’s had 10 of her own at home so I know I’m in good hands!!

Any moms doing at home birth? I am.. My mother in law is going to be there with me, along with my husband.. She’s had 10 babies, and all were home births lol.. So I trust her with me and my baby..😅

I’m really considering a home birth. I was registered to give birth at a birthing center, but now my Dr told me that she’ll be switched by the time I give birth smh. I don’t want to go to the hospital she’ll be working out of
