How to raise your child well?

When you become a parent, it's all a bit of a blur.

Here are some tips to help you raise your child well.

  • For a child to blossom, it is advisable to establish a climate of trust and benevolence.
  • You can understand your child better if you actively listen to them, so take the time to hear what they have to say before you respond.
  • You don't need to yell to get respect and understanding. Speak calmly but firmly so that he understands that your decision is not negotiable.
  • Set an example by turning off the TV and getting some fresh air!

It be your own family!!! 🤬😡 smh my dad has the nerve to tell me he’s gonna take my child away from me all because he doesn’t approve of his almost 30 year old daughter getting pregnant but luckily my mom has my back we even told him absolutely NO social worker in this world would give him custody of a baby considering he’s a raging major alcoholic and on top of that I asked him 3 simple questions on how to raise a newborn for example I asked “how often should u feed a newborn baby?” His response “idk like 6-7 hours” omg he would kill my child 🤦🏻‍♀️ I even laughed and said yea only a empty headed ass social worker would let u raise a child. It’s all good I’m gonna be living with my in-laws who love and care about me and my mom is even leaving his ass too👍🏼 sometimes family isn’t always there for you. One thing I’ll never do is choose drugs and alcohol over my family like him 👍🏼 not like he ever really was around like that to raise me anyway 🤷🏻‍♀️ thank you all for letting me vent.

Sooo knowing all that you just stated, you let what he said get to because what exactly?. Why would he even consider taking your baby anyway 🤔

It’s not really about it getting to me it’s really just funny considering he has NO reason at all to do it, I’m a FedEx warehouse area manager my own car and drug free and in the process of living in a nicer and bigger home with my in laws. The point is I don’t play when it comes to my unborn and even when she is born I’ll never let nobody including family try to hurt her in anyway, period.

One thing I never and probably won't ever understand is.. A man that can raise someone else's child/children but cant raise his own. Also, how do women allow this.

#ventingout I need some encouragement, after the dad being ecstatic and happy about being a father, now he says he is scared and confused and doesn't know what he wants. I'm scared to have to raise my first child on my own. Any and all words of encouragement accepted. Thank you

Totally normal. My hubby is going through the same feelings. And yet asked me to find some good Audible books on newborns. Don't judge him for his feelings. Let him feel safe and honest around you on what he's going through. He's on his own journey and will come around. It's harder for them to feel connected to the baby because they're not carrying it. But it'll be ok 💗 give him time

So how would you respond to someone wishing your kid to be 10 times worse to raise then you were to raise? Especially if the person wishing it didn't raise you or have anything to do with you for more than half your life?

I think my family will judge me for not being financially stable and wanting this child. I don't want to let money raise my kids and rather work hard to provide and teach them love over money any day. I still have goals and will be saving hella money and starting school a month before I pop😩

It is better to be alone than to have a partner who is not involved at all 😔😔 Now I realize how hard it is to raise a child alone. I wish he would get involved a little
