Cervical Mucus Matters

Cervical Mucus Matters
Have you heard about the amazing powers of your cervical mucus?
It's not just a boring bodily fluid; it's actually a super valuable tool for understanding your menstrual cycle and fertility 🤩
Why It Matters
Okay, we get it, talking about mucus might not seem like the most exciting topic. But hear us out - understanding your cervical mucus can help you pinpoint your most fertile days. And who doesn't love a little extra help in the baby-making department?
During ovulation, your mucus becomes clear and stretchy, like raw egg whites. It's a sign that your body is primed and ready to welcome those little swimmers.
Plus, paying attention to your mucus can also alert you to any potential health issues. Talk about a multitasker!
Track It Like a Pro
So, how do you become a cervical mucus tracking pro?
First, start by checking it daily. It's easy - just wipe with toilet paper or use your fingers to collect a small sample from the opening of your vagina.
Then, take a good look at the consistency and color of the mucus. Bonus points for stretching it between your fingers to check its elasticity.
And don't worry if you notice variations throughout your cycle. That's totally normal. Your sidekick is just doing its thing and adjusting to any changes in your body 😉
Show Your Cervix Some Love
Aside from tracking your mucus, it's important to show your cervix some love in other ways.
That means getting regular cervical cancer screenings and practicing safe sex to reduce your risk of sexually transmitted infections.
Remember, your cervix is an important part of your reproductive system, and taking care of it is key to maintaining your overall health.
So What's the Big Takeaway?
Here's the deal: understanding your cervical mucus can give you some major insights into your body and health.
And that's pretty awesome, whether you're trying to conceive or just want to get to know yourself a little better.
So start tracking that mucus, show your cervix some love, and let your fertility sidekick guide you on your journey to optimal health ❤️

When getting a cervical exam does the doctor remove your mucus plug.. I'm so confused because yesterday was the first time I got my cervix checked and I'm still bleeding a little.

I am really really worried please help me. Since yesterday, I have been having pink or red cervical mucus. I passed a clot/tissue like thing yesterday once and now today. What should I do? Is it normal? No cramps or bleeding so far.

Today is ovulation day. But I am not having any cervical mucus. Also, both ovaries have been cramping all day so bad that I’ve been on the verge of puking and bawling my eyes out. At my follicle scan I had a dominant follicle on each ovary. And this is the first time I’ve ever had dark ovulation tests. But I don’t understand the pain or the not having cervical mucus. Anyone know what’s going on?

Idk what is happening, but when I conceived i didn't notice anything. I had no signs at all. I only ended up taking a pregnancy test because i was having weird cramps and my boobs were extremely sore and it turned out I was pregnant. I've been married 10 years and actively trying to conceive for about 6 years. Best wishes to you and I hope you get your little blessing!

AF due Thursday, I’m super bloated, boobs hurt on the sides. Having a lot of cervical mucus that’s a mix of pale yellow and clear and stringy. Ovulated on the 26th… I pray I miss this period…

I'm a day ahead of you. Ovulated on the 25th and AF due Wednesday. I was really starting to think I was pregnant because I'm so bloated and I've had some other symptoms, but now I'm starting to think AF will start right on schedule. Ugh. I'll keep my fingers crossed for you.

Continued creamy lotion cm is normal in the luteal phase. If it becomes abundant, or stretchy egg white again… it COULD be a sign of pregnancy.

I’m giving y’all the Tea I sipped ! Musinex helps with the Cervical mucus, making it easier for sperm to travel! It worked for me it’s harmless so why not just try it? I know what it feels like getting negative tests over and over and wanting to give up!!!

So my post that I posted a little bit ago is not showing up on my profile like I can’t find it anywhere… but my obgyn said that it looks like a blood-tinged cervical mucus..

If you can't find it then wemoms most likely removed it. The new update stated if you don't put TMI and post it in the comments than it'll be removed.

Ok someone please answer this. I had egg white cervical mucus for five days. We did the deed everyday I saw this. Last day was Saturday that I had this type of cervical mucus. Now I’m on cycle day 12 and I am pretty much dry white a little bit of white. So does this mean I already ovulated or haven’t yet? Last cycle I got my positive opk on cycle day 10-12. This month I’ve gotten nothing but negative. I test at 10am every morning and only test once. Thanks

Sometimes our bodies gear up for ovulation and then it doesn't happen. Usually due to what they call a lazy ovary. Now, you could get a second surge in hormones and ovulation will take place . Just keep testing mama

Question: TMI (don’t worry I will not be posting a nasty picture) My cervical mucus is watery and has random clumpy egg white discharge. Is this normal? I always thought it was supposed to be 100% egg white consistency not mixed In with watery consistency… I always feel like I’m wet now. Is this normal or am I totally wrong? Thanks
