Baby blues during pregnancy

The baby blues occur mostly in the days following childbirth, but what can you do if they occur before that?

  • The baby blues vary greatly from person to person, but are estimated to last an average of two weeks.
  • The baby blues can be linked to both physical and psychological factors, but in all cases, it requires support and listening.
  • Before the birth, this discomfort could be linked to hormonal changes, but also to intense fatigue or anxiety about the arrival of the baby.
  • If you are feeling weakened by the pregnancy, seeing a health professional can help you manage this tough time.

Yes I had that with my son. It can definitely be stressful and overwhelming. It was storming out and I pack him up to leave and didn't care😥 I was crying everyday and all I could say is I didn't know why smh. My husband had to call my mother in law to come help me. I know what you going through but you have to pray and take it one day at a time. Try to sleep while baby sleep, try not to hold him as much if possible, are you nursing or bottle?

Ughh the worst , I had to stop taking the prenatal pills and switched to gummies and the only thing that stood down were watermelons ,crackers and I had to get lemon heads that’s what helped me

Things people don’t talk about during pregnancy 1)feeling alone 2)anxiety always worried if your baby is okay 3)many sleepless nights 4)not feeling fully supported during pregnancy 5)no one to relate to during your pregnancy 6)needing company and friends to uplift you
